Ban Stairs!

The CPSC is alleging that warnings on packages don’t work. We disagree.

But by their logic, all kinds of things should be banned. What should they zero in on next?

Next up: the world’s most common way to rise above. You guessed it… stairs. These convenient and reliable paths—er, treacherous death traps—are responsible for over 1000 U.S. deaths every year. It’s time to write off everything above ground level (don’t even think about escalators). How can something so stationary be so harmful?

Is trying to ban stairs irrational? Oh yeah! It’s what the CPSC does best.
